The Supernatural Dream
We are the Slater family, established in 1998 when Sue and Fred met at 17 years of age. Since then, we've become parents to four beautiful children.
We've always tried our best to achieve optimal health with a natural and nutritious diet and over the years we have created many tasty recipes full of the foods we love. As this was, and still is, such a passion of ours, we decided to make our Supernatural dream a reality and launch our own brand.
So here we are, very excited to have created a 100% natural and nutritious range of children's breakfast products, lovingly and carefully designed in our family kitchen with the help of our own little superheroes!
How We Started
Two years ago we decided to take the first step towards making our Supernatural dream a reality.
Ever since we've been working tirelessly alongside our family nutritionist to create a range of breakfast products to provide the energy and nutrition your child needs. We started by developing a pilot group of 21 families, a total of 45 little superheroes, providing us with their thoughts and ideas. You name it they commented on it, the taste, texture, ingredients, our superhero characters and anything else they could think of. It felt very exciting knowing that our dream was turning into reality.
What Inspired us?
We've had many sources of inspiration but none more so than our four beautiful children who fuel our passion for health and wellbeing.
As well as this, losing Fred's mum and Sue's Dad at an early age was and still is, very difficult for us.
They were our parents, friends, support and everything else we needed when we needed it, hence the smiley face and heart that forms part of our brand. These will appear in many different places, as this is how they would sign off a text or card.
Our Promise
Our Family nutritionist has always said to us that good mental and physical health begins on the inside, therefore building and maintaining good gut health in our children is the cornerstone of wellbeing.
